2008 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Nyack Indian Foundation is proud to announce their fourth annual scholarship awards. This year there will be two scholarship awards in the amount of $1,000 each which will be presented to one female student and one male student from the 2008 graduating class of Nyack High School.

The awards will be in honor of two Nyack High School alumni who lost their lives in the World Trade Center attack. The scholarships will be named as follows:

THE NYACK INDIAN FOUNDATION WELLES CROWTHER SCHOLARSHIP

and

THE NYACK INDIAN FOUNDATION STACEY SENNAS McGOWAN SCHOLARSHIP

Application for these scholarships is open to all Nyack High School seniors who are

planning to graduate in June, 2008 and will be attending an institution of higher

learning in the fall of 2008.

If you are interested, please print, fill out and submit the application provided below (or found in your guidance office) and a 300 word essay describing 

"What it means to have the spirit of the Nyack Indian"

Submission must be postmarked no later than April 11, 2008
